Compudraft Design Services has been serving the homebuilding industry in central eastern Ontario since 1987, providing a complete drafting and design service for residential construction. This service includes custom home planning by a provincially certified designer, plotting, and large format copying. Compudraft began as Peterborough's first Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) service for the residential market using AutoCAD software exclusively for all drafting and design work.

Today, Compudraft is located in the scenic town of Bancroft, ideally situated half way between Toronto and Ottawa providing design and drafting services for projects throughout Ontario, as well as other provinces, and locations overseas.

The Ontario Building Code now requires that designers be certified by the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing. Compudraft owner/operator, Larry D. Haight, began the Ministry training and testing procedures in 2003, and is certified under both "House" and "Small Building" categories.

Larry Haight is a Registered Building Technologist with the Association of Architectural Technologists of Ontario and a member of the Canadian Home Builders Association. As a former R2000 design evaluator and now through the EnergyStar for New Homes program, Larry has always been interested in energy efficiency and strives to incorporate such features into all of his designs.
